@kylewritescode I'm currently re-writing my python code to ingest our TigerGraph graph db into NetworkX and show our Devs how to use NetworkX to manipulate the graph in python and develop algorithms.

@randahl ABC said 199 mass shootings this year on Sunday. That makes 1.6 mass shootings per day.

This feels exactly what the GOP wants. Us to be scared of everything. I think they believe it works in their favor somehow. Voter suppression works better in their favor.

Until the people finally realize the GOP doesn't care for any of them. But will we still be a democracy by then? Will everyone stop voting these mad power crazed people into office?

    @Jonathanglick I don't know how you can say, "We're protecting the kids" when they are the ones dying for their non-gun control rights.

    I think when the GOP finally acts we're going to find laws that severely restrict guns to all buy one group - the white christian man. But first they have take full control of forms of government.

    I mean that's how all supervillains operate. Take control and then give 1 group access and put everyone else in chains.

    If we wanted term limits on the Supreme Court would that require a constitutional convention?

    What about a maximum age limit? Mandatory retirement at 70?

    @futurebird Can we make it maximum retirement at 60. I feel that's when old people start yelling about "kids these days" and "get off my lawn" so they are already have predisposition to hate anything new and giving freedom and equality to those "kids".

    @ryanhoulihan She doesn't know the science and she is a science gal. This is where she will either take a step back and look at the science and what it means. Or she's going all in as another person that is not able to grasp the concept of what being trans mean.

    I'm not trans. I did learn & stopped being a prejudiced jerk about it because I read up and discussed with trans people.

    I believe we should all be given the chance to grow. Maybe she won't blow it? I'll give time just not forever.

    I'm deleting all my posts today.

    I don't regret having an opinion.

    I also don't regret having an opinion on someone else's opinion.

    Rather, I regret not using the best words possible to present those opinions.

    For example, I tagged someone multiple times in a long thread. I thought that was being polite because it would notify them of exactly what was being said. But others perceived that as harmful.

    I'm going to take a break for a few hours.

    @atomicpoet @kissane I love soysausage, and Iove Mastodon more than anything Dorsey is trying to recreate ,so she loses me on the negative connotation.

    My only question is, will Bluesky be open sourced so that others can create their own servers/nodes,(Yes) and will it connect to ActivityPub? (Unknown)

    @peterkal @atomicpoet @kissane But will AT talk to ActivityPub or will be it it's own thing? Is my question. Stating it's the same/similar doesn't mean it will work together and connect the Fediverse.

    Good that it's open source so it sounds that devs from both sides can see how to get things working on both sides.

    Which begs another question, why not use and extend ActivityPub?

    @atomicpoet And that is by design I'm sure. Jack Dorsey knows what kind of voices will promote his new service.

    Muting just makes you not hear the negative anti-human voices. But Bluesky can still deliver said voices for the rest of the anti-humans to read.
