these folks work year round, rarely if ever earn overtime, are out there in every weather and dealing with some of the weirdest, grossest stuff you'll ever encounter.

if you can afford to tip with money or giftcard, 10 or 20$ is a normal amount.

snacks and drinks are also welcome, especially for letter carriers working extra hours to get all that temu/amazon crap out in time for holidays.

cash/giftcards can be placed in an envelope with "to our regular carrier/sanitation worker" on it. for the mail, just pop it in your mailbox and flip the outgoing mail indicator red flag thing so they know to check. for sani workers, put the card/tip in a plastic bag and duct tape it to the top of your trash bin (or pin it down with a brick or rock to the top) on pickup day.

even just signed cards are nice. these workers only get thanked once a year!

Is this functional as an example?

an img stored alt text dedcribing the actual artists visual based webdesign at the tippy top of the website: Pardon me, things are under construction. A little notepad stained with coffee contains further updates below. Everything feels a bit medical, or science fiction tinged.

Does that scan clearly or am i missing a key compoNent to how readability works?

Should i confine it to the main landing page?

Do the dimensions of the image hosting the alt text matter, or does screen reader not care?

My idea is a small transparent .gif in the first line of website body to describe for you what ive visually web designed. Would thjs work? Do ythink?

Why does the kitchen have a separate circuit? Oh that's because one day you'll need to run the oven, microwave, and a toaster all at once. And maybe a kettle too, because you can't make breakfast without tea.

edit: And while you're making breakfast, if you're lucky, your housemate is doing the vacuuming... and ruining the breakfast would be Very Bad Indeed.
