Fun fact, yesterday's #DraculaDaily entry (May 16th) marks one of the first occurrences of a fear boner in literature (although strangely, the words "fear boner" do not literally occur in the text).

Rich Americans serving prison time always helps to bring to the public's attention to how completely rotten the US prison system is. Case in point: convicted crypto bro Sam Bankman-Fried is on the east coast and needs to be taken to the west coast. How? Well, if you're imagining some kind of Con Air transportation, think again: inmates are driven cross-country on a bus, stopping along the way to drop off and pick up prisoners. This kind of drive takes weeks, sometimes even months.
