Honestly Spotlight is worse than Siri these days, and has been for a while. There was a brief moment in 2006 when Spotlight was incredible, instant and reliable. Spotlight in macOS 13 would rather spin up every network share on my NAS than find a file by name in my Documents folder 😞

(It never did find the file. I found it by hand in 10 seconds)

Use #NeoFinder, it can catalog your entire data and still supports EPS. Works with NAS volumes, too, which Spotlight never really could 😎

Warum fahren Konservative eigentlich nur auf Technologien ab, die irgendwas verbrennen? Efuels, Wasserstoff, Atomstrom und natürlich Öl und Gas! Aber Wind, Wasser, Solar: Alles, was nichts zerstört, keinen Müll und keinen Dreck in der Luft hinterlässt, nehmen sie nicht ernst!

Please do NOT install macOS 13.4 beta 4 if you are using any network content filter like #LittleSnitch or #LittleSnitchMini. Apple has introduced a bug in its latest beta causing network connectivity to break.

Did you know that the XMP Editor in #NeoFinder8 can remember the last 30 entries you add to each metadata field, and offer them to you when typing?

That makes it so much easier to add meaningful descriptions or metadata to your photos and videos.

    Das war schon ein sehr spezielles Feuerwerk, keine Frage!
    Ich bin sehr gespannt, was die Ursache war. Die Explosion mindestens zweier Triebwerke bei ca. 30 Sekunden in den Flug hat sicher damit zu tun...

    Indeed looks like 30 seconds after takeoff, first one, then another engine next to it on the outer ring exploded, you can see that nicely in the video.

    I am super surprised that the whole rocket didn't RUD at that time already. Looks like a very solid basic design.

    But it was probably impossible to have stable steering of the gigantic rocket afterwards...

    I am sure they have loads and loads of valuable data to improve upon. Excellent!

    I took this photo 1998 in Las Vegas, in the Hilton, for the Star Trek Experience.

    When I set up my camera on the tripod, a bunch of bulky security guards came to me, and I was scared as hell!

    But they just told me NOT to take any photos of their slot machines. Everything else was fine.

    And then they asked me if I needed them to cordon off some space and the stairways, so I could take some photos with no people on them.

    LOL

    Those were the days!
