Oui, nous sommes parfaitement d'accord.
C'est néanmoins un premier pas, et 2 à 3 milliards € par an, ce n'est pas complètement négligeable.

D'ailleurs, Martine JODEAU, juriste au sein de l'asso Pour l'Ukraine, leur Liberté et la nôtre, a fait la démonstration de la validité de la saisie du capital des avoirs russes, au titre des contre-mesures au service d'un État agressé.

This is an official EU citizens' initiative, meaning that if it reaches certain thresholds, it will have to be considered by the EU institutions. That's a really powerful tool, if actually used.

Hello Michal,

I'm so glad to see that you have spread the news about this initiative.
French progressive people have massively signed it. We encourage other fellow European citizens to do so.

One can add that moving your money to avoid such a tax would mean getting out of the EU / Euro-area, I suppose it's quite different in terms of opportunities from moving from 🇨🇿, 🇩🇪 or 🇫🇷 to 🇫🇮 or🇧🇪, 🇵🇹 etc

Economist Gabriel Zucman & MEP Aurore Lalucq are also involved !

En lisant un de vos fils récents sur 🐦 (vous comprendrez je pense), je me souviens avoir pensé à vous signaler cette recension de "Retour à Lemberg" de Philippe Sands, qui fait une analyse parallèle sur crime contre l'humanité et génocide, qu'on peut voir comme 2 approches différentes sans gradation entre elles, de crimes.
