A silly safeguard, indeed. But she will have to learn in life to get around lots of various weird programming-based user issues. Teach her to try to think of alternatives whenever the computer glitches or says no to something. In this case, maybe she can use alternatives like "flowerpot" (as one word), "box," etc.

She was in the role for only one film and the first season of #TheAdventuresOfSuperman, opposite #Superman actor #GeorgeReeves. She had a myriad of roles over the years, but returned to the #DCU to play Lois' mother Ellen in the TV series #LoisAndClark.

She was born Gypsie Ann Evarts Stell on Jan.15, 1927 in Wichita Falls TX, and passed away from natural causes on Wed, Oct.11th.

#JamesGunn and #JasonMamoa have both confirmed this #Aquaman movie will be the end of the #Snyderverse and the old #DCEU. Mamoa will be coming back ONLY as #Lobo-- if he comes back at all.

Early showings of the film (and trailer analyses) say Arthur & Mera have an infant son who is vital to the plot, so she is vital to the film.

Previous reports say that most of her scenes were filmed prior to the trial. But post-trial, there was editing done to minimize her time on screen.

One criteria I would add to that chart would be "is it #AltText/Voiceover friendly?" I know Mastodon allows visually impaired users to hear text, and the culture here promotes lots of AltText inclusion. Technically, AltText is possible on the Bird Site, but I haven't checked to see if folks include it often.

While I do see the point of your comic, I would add that able-bodied people touting things like and as "the future of transportation" are also irritating to me.

I have heel spurs. The point of wheels (for me) is to NOT stand up. Old people and people who can't walk easily cannot use Segways and scooters like young, healthy folks.

Hey, fans...Please consider us when inventing new "future of transportation" ideas. Thanks.

#AudiobookNarration is not an easy skill. Microphones are merciless at picking up unwanted sounds: background & mouth noises, leafblowers down the street, heavy breaths, etc.

You have to maintain a slow, steady pace, with enough inflection & character voices to keep it interesting.

#AudioEditing takes longer than recording. Experienced #narrators can take many hours to record & edit an #audiobook.

There are good reasons why #voiceactors are paid well for their work.

1/ You have a third group, the ones who say, "I need to be there because that's how I make my living."

I can respect that. But I think if people who were trying to make money there really looked at their numbers (SEO, sales, activity on business-relevant hashtags, etc.), they would probably realize that they are getting a lot less income from there than they used to.

2/ Some creatives/businesses would realize it's not worth the time. Others (like me) see that much of our community there has left already, and the networking available has now gone elsewhere (not only to Mastodon).

Early on after Musk, I could still find a lot of #voiceacting gigs shared on #Twitter. Now I see very few. (I used to need to check every few days, now almost never.) Some might be due to regular seasonal flux, but there is definitely a long-term trend.
