@RickiTarr Brazil by Terry Gilliam, with Robert De Niro as undercover air conditioning repair man in a 1984-like society. Thought provoking and hilarious!
So I finally caved and got a mastodon. Not sure how exciting this space will be, but feel free to share this in case anyone wants to follow back and I'll give you an upbeat track to get sstuck in your head for your Monday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq8h3GEe22o
Have an amazing day all
@startrek2024 Nice to see another cat person :) I am the provider of treats for the cats Lucy and Snurre ("Twirly"), and I hope you find Mastodon as rewarding as I do!
@lauren We've got all four seasons, albeit summer is definitely hotter than before. We've had mild winters for a while, but the last one was long and January was really cold. June forecast indicates a lot of heat, followed by a wet July. What can we do except fuss over the weather :P
@lauren Over 30°C (86°F) is considered hot here. Remember, at 60° North, we are in the sub-arctic region. And we've had a warmer May than France and Germany.
At 100°F, I'd move into the fridge!
@lauren Everything is relative, I suppose. We enjoy life at 23°C and think 17°C is a tolerable temperature for swimming in the ocean :) Winters are -5 to -15°C where I live...
It’s that time of year where you bust your ass working outside on the weekends around the yard, and then you can’t wait to get back to work Monday because it’s less strenuous…
