I was noticing that my cat and I seem to share some behaviors, which made me wonder if cats aren't a little bit autistic. Or maybe I'm a little bit cat?

@JeremyMallin @actuallyautistic It's a combination, for me. A lot of simpler, unimportant stuff, it's easier to learn on my own. But with something complicated and vast like art, having a really good, knowledgeable teacher is invaluable. The learning goes faster, as they can both show me what I'm missing/getting wrong, and expose me to ideas and ways of seeing it would have taken me a long time to get to on my own.

An interesting article at Scientific American, about brain waves synching when people interact. It makes me wonder about those times that I have instantly "clicked" with someone, and the times when "clicking" has been impossible, as if our interaction were a case of grinding gears.

Also makes me think about how my clicking seems to happen most with #ActuallyAutistic and #ADHD people.
