id choose super speed,
the kind where you also change your perception of time and everything just seems to slow down compared to you.

as long as i can change that speed, and am not stuck percieving everything at a crawl.

if you know how they work llms are obviously not general ai.

but people are really bad at understanding how technology works especially with intangible stuff like computer programs.

scifi has covered ai for years, and now there is software that can mostly convincingly generate sentences.

people that understand both, see the very different approaches.

but people that don’t only see the almost convincing results.

i dont think there is a good soulution for you.
if its out there, somebody will find it.

you could host your own wordpress instance independent of WordPress.com.

and you could add a robots.txt to tell google to not scan your content, or even completly block the user agents of known search engines.

but blocking search engines is rather counterproductive if you want readers to find your blog.

and even then more nefarious crawlers might ignore the robots.txt and spoof their user agent to find you.

the moon is made out of cheese.

goverment cheese was never made to feed the poor or to bail out dairy farmers,
it was used to built the set where they faked the moonlanding.

and now they feed it to the poor to get rid of the evidence.

📄 rule (sh.itjust.works)

alt-textIt blows our hivemind that the United States doesn’t use the ISO 216 paper size standard (A4, A5 and the gang). Like, we consider ourselves worldly people and are aware of America’s little idiosyncrasies like mass incarceration, the widespread availability of assault weapons and not being able to transfer money via...

almost all consumer printers are for a4.
i had (rare) occasions where i wanted to print a picture for an a3 sized frame and was able to glue together two a4 prints.

also, as far as im aware, books in a4 size actually consist of a3 sheets bound together in the middle. (same with other sized books)

Kerb,

yeah, i changed that.

i only discovered that setting after a few months,
but now it has been on for years.

i can tell the diffrence if i actively look out for ghosting on my mouse coursor.

but unless i actively look out for it,
i dont notice it

Kerb,

i don’t
i have a 144hz display, and can barely tell the diffrence between that and 60hz

the template is normaly showing people before something was invented.

but BC years are a countdown instead of an incrementing year number.

so the joke is that 8000 bc is before 7999 bc and the hammer has already been invented

The Hubble Space Telescope has lost a majority of its gyroscopes (arstechnica.com)

After NASA and SpaceX conducted a feasibility study late that year, it was recommended that the space agency continue investigating the possibility of a commercial mission. At a minimum it could safely re-boost the telescope, but there were also options that included attaching star trackers and external gyroscopes to compensate...

NASA announced Tuesday that it will reduce the Hubble’s operations such that it will function on just a single gyroscope.

“I don’t personally see this as a major restriction on its ability to do science,”

somehow bison was the only reveal that i expected.

he was never gonna stay dead (just like heihachi)
but releasing him right in season 2 was imo way to hasty.
especialy with him being the next release right after akuma
