Some ppl think it's hard to do more of yearly meals as #Plantbased#Vegan.
It's simple.
Every meal we do that way is another positive ripple.
It's good for health & longevity.
It's good for quality of life.
It's good for planet.
It's good for animals.
It's good for defunding the most polluting resource intensive industries & their awful politicians.
It helps everyone.

✅ Ppl actively trying to understand & discuss your point even if they think you're probably wrong.
✅ Ppl suggesting part of what you outline can already be done with tools you didn't know about.
✅ Ppl mentioning cool developments already underway for similar stuff.
✅ Great conversations.
✅ Learn stuff.
Of course democracy is disappointing. That's the design. Gently disappointing everyone trying chart a middle course. Leaving everyone not entirely satisfied, because resources are finite & everyone wants different things.
Good #democracy is mildly unsatisfying for everyone. That is the point. The least shitty system we aspire to
Throwing mildly disappointing democracy away, for not being perfect, is insanity.

I wanted to share some music today as a distraction, but I find I can't do stuff that pulls on emotions right now, silence +tinnitus is actually easier atm.
So many nationalists have done fuck all for their countries or actively damaged them. The thing they hold on to for being proud about is essentially, having been born.
Probably not a popular opinion but one I'd like people to consider:
What I've seen here on the Fedi the past year. Such a wealth of talent, in arts, media, comms, writing, tech with so great a passion for decentralising, FOSS, community building, diversity & rights, environment & sustainability, democracy & quality of life vs shareholder value ways of thinking.
And yet this enormous talent pool of progressive thought seems curiously unmotivated to communicate with wider society?
Are there any good new movies or series on apple, Disney or prime?
I'd like to watch something, but For All Mankind is doing the annoying weekly release stuff that make me wait for completion,v which for me results in forgetting or losing interest in a series.
I've surely missed loads, but nothing coming to mind readily..
