Yesterday i logged in, first time in a week. Added a new photo and went to catch up on posts by everyone i follow here. Got this message and now a day later i still can't like any post on Pixelfed by any of you.

My last DSLR upload from yesterday is going to be my final one on Pixelfed.

Thank you all for connecting, spending time viewing my photos and sharing your photography with me. I'm sorry i'm unable to continue showing support in return by liking your images. Nothing in the Help menus here provide any information on how long this happens for and after a day i don't feel like this is working out as a viable photography platform.

It seems like every other day a poll hits the timeline asking about our age bracket and or generation.

I've been curious lately about this.

After high school, throughout my time in the Navy and even now, the majority of my IRL straight friends are much younger than myself and my LGBTQIA+ friends are older than myself.

Is this typical for the LGBTQIA+ community?

I've mostly had friends IRL my age or older, although i have had friends who were younger but generally within a range of their having experienced a lot of the major historical events i have. I get along fine with people much younger, no issues there but i just seem to have mostly friends close to my age (48) and a lot of times older.
