Currently it's very frosty here in Northrhine-Westphalia, Germany and quite a lot of birds are looking for their chance to find some food in the foliage leaves in the ground while others wait for their chance like this small robin.

Woke up to 32.1 degrees F (0 C) this morning! While it is forecast to get up to 57 F (14 C) by this afternoon ... it's a good reminder that here in northern #Vermont, just about 45 minutes south of the Canadian border... #Winter can still visit us! We have, in fact, had the random brief snow storm in early May in past years.
(And also why many people don't plant vegetables in gardens until closer to the end of May.)
