The solar eclipse is coming to an end, and it was awe-inspiring as usual! I'm happy that my marathon negotiations with Mother Nature to clear the sky were a success!
Thanks to Cathy, Steve, and Sandi for these beautiful Billings Tuesday sunrise photos! "Red sky in the morning"... I'll have your 7-day weather forecast at noon on MTN!
Jason heading out to work on Caturday Saturday after a record-breaking low of -26°in Billings, record-destroying and all-time record low of -41° back home in Dillon and -45° in Bozeman & Butte!

Montana had 45-75 mph wind gusts on Tuesday! The pretty leaves on Helene's Purple Ash tree in Laurel were here yesterday, but "gone with the wind" today! 😲 🌬 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁
@GhostOnTheHalfShell At 3:15 minutes into the video is a scary chart. Notice the trend of the red line. In Mar and Aug it is already up close to +1.5C, and the trend in August is up, like it is in all El Nino origin years. In fact the temperature anomaly will likely continue to go up at the minimum 5-to 7 more months, easily going above +1.5C. Might even be enough to have the whole year avg over +1.5C. #ClimateChange#OnePointFiveCelsius#ClimateDisaster#WeatherMastodonhttps://youtu.be/jNaA7WrQnTE
That Mother Nature... she's a temptress, alright: 80s and sun in fall in Montana. Some weather whiplash is coming! I'll have your 7-day weather forecast at noon on your MTN station!
