Two wonderful dogs to match the background 🤗🐕🐕. Enjoying a refreshing dip in the water! The background is a rocky cliff on the coast called Scala dei Turchi (Staircase of the Turks) in Realmonte, Sicily, Italy.
"#Mexico, the #UnitedStates and #Caribbean countries are being pummeled by #hurricane#waves that have increased in size by 80 percent over the past four decades, according to a first-of-its-kind global trend study led by China’s Hohai University."
That's 20 percent each decade. Worldwide, hurricane wave height went up only 3 percent per decade. So the Americas are at a lot more risk.
The country is experiencing some very frigid air. Here in NM, it's 12 degrees right now. So I thought a view of Florida on the beach at sunrise might be nice. Even when it's cold there the AC is usually still running. This is under the Juno Pier, a place I enjoyed many sunrises. How cold is it where you are?
Reposting this from @Bigsurkate -- photo by Tim Huntington of McWay Falls and the waves in Big Sur over the holidays. The tiny stream of water to the left on the cliffs is 80 feet tall. #waves#CAwx#surf#BigSur
