#Tucker#Carlson, when asked about Alexei #Navalny, opposition leaders and journalists in #Russia: “Every leader kills people. Some kill more than others. Leadership requires killing people.”
This is really important:
"Trump exposes true allegiance, worrying U.S. NATO allies
Rachel #Maddow looks at why close observers of Vladimir #Putin's answers in his interview with Tucker Carlson see a disturbing threat to #Poland in Putin's re-writing of World War II history. Michael McFaul, former U.S. ambassador to Russia joins to discuss how Donald Trump's open disdain for NATO is raising fears abroad about America's commitment to its allies.Feb. 13, 2024"
So... is #Tucker yet on Tzar Vlad's payroll? RT specials?
Or is he still too much the "useful idiot" as a traitor who happily re-spreads the Putin / #TrumpVirus fascism & #disinformation ?
#Putin: "#Poland forced #Hitler to attack in 1939." Hitler just wanted to "realize his plans" and Poland was "uncooperative" and "forced" Hitler to attack and start World War II, Putin said in his interview with #Tucker Carlson.
Putin defends his invasion just like the Nazis. And he keeps silent that the Soviets also invaded Poland along with the Nazis together...
To historians, the litany of claims made by Mr Putin are nonsense - representing nothing more than a selective abuse of history to justify the ongoing war in #Ukraine.
Regardless of the historical realities, none of Putin's assertions would form a legal justification for his invasion.
„I have been represented as having made bloodthirsty and firebrand speeches against foreign countries, and now the world is surprised at my moderation...
...As to a possible further war, the result could only be conjectured, and therefore nobody wanted peace and tranquillity more than himself and Germany.“
"there's an old saying in tennessee—i know it's in texas, probably in tennessee—that says, 'fool me once, shame on...shame on you. fool me—you can't get fooled again." bush jr.
If you want to see the Tucker Carslon interview with #Putin before its released, you better go and watch these two Putin interviews:
Oliver Stone “The Putin Interviews” (2015-2017)
Keir Simmons (2020)
Their content is 100% identical as it comes to the merit: Putin continues lengthy monologues about how “NATO invaded Russia” while the journalist sits with blank stare and asks pre-approved questions.
It’s not an interview, as we understand it, it’s a carefully directed show, just as Putin’s “open questions annual press conference” whose sole purpose is to distribute and reinforce Russian narratives. The bait is the most natural humans’ instinct: curiosity, as in “oh, will Putin this time break and say something honest?”
Well, he won’t. Instead, your brain will be infected with Putin’s world view where you yourself have a role of a serf, or no role at all. The benefit of watching these old interviews is that most Putin’s promises didn’t age well and are probably the best vaccine against believing him again.
#Tucker#Carlson and Putin do not have good intentions and should be ignored
Watching such well organized and orchestrated so called “interviews” is a wasting of time and only helping Putin to spread his toxic Russian propaganda and misinformation
People in #Europe should be more wise and start as soon as possible a #WarEconomy to put first priority in building a strong and well equipped #EuropeanArmy
Putin will not stop after #Ukraine 🇺🇦 that is for sure 🤷🏻♀️
The #Kremlin on Monday declined to say whether or not #Putin would grant an interview to U.S. journalist #Tucker#Carlson - or whether he was in #Moscow.
