When 6 out of 8 #candidates say they would support a 4 time indicted #criminal as #president what does that tell you about the #GOP. I get it, they are playing to #TFG base and if they reject that base they lose 34% of the vote. What they do not realize is the rest of #us see them as #unprincipled and #weak ppl who should never be near the levers of power bc they have no principles.

Their research, published in Science, found that #misinformation is ’70 percent more likely to be retweeted on #Twitter than the #truth,’ and that the #FakeNews ‘reached 1,500 people about six times faster than the truth.'”

Voting is compulsory for Australians over 18 (as is registering to vote, which you must do in the next couple of weeks if you haven't already)
If you don't know, find out. If you're too lazy to spend a few minutes understanding what is being asked, then voting 'no' isn't the 'safer' option. The status quo is decidedly unsafe. Ignorance harms.
The Voice is one of three requests in the Statement. The other two are arguably even more important (#Treaty and #Truth), but the #Voice is what the government has decided to respond to first and is the only question on the referendum.
