Hello community! I am in need of some and for collaborative whiteboard that:

  • don't require sign in for invited people to collaborate: like uploading images and adding/editing text
  • can be saved on your computer or on a repository
  • can be shared as link (view only - even from self-host)

and last but very important:

  • has a good privacy policy.

After testing VS Code, Espresso, BBEdit, TextMate, SublimeText, Nova, and more, I'm back to Nova and BBEdit.
Both have their strengths for me.

Bet you can't code in Zapfino…
I bet Hermann Zapf would wince at this:

I wrote a (long) post about the Shaper Trace, a device that quickly and easily turns paper drawings into vector artwork.

Yes, there are many ways to do this, but this is sort of a new take on it. I like it. Also, I have a nice hack to improve it.

Tom Ryder @tejr published a series of posts on using Unix as an Integrated Development Environment in the terminal:

"The primary rationale for using an IDE is that it gathers all your tools in the same place, and you can use them in concert with roughly the same user interface paradigm, and without having to exert too much effort to make separate applications cooperate."

I have published Snake & Apple III.

Inside, you will find an explanation of the various #binary #protections on #Apple #Mac (#macOS), how to #detect them and #assess whether they are configured securely or not.

This #research results in several new #tools written in #Python, which, as usual, you will find in the repository. The most important of them is the #checksec module for #CrimsonUroboros.

Enjoy reading! 👨‍💻

First the kitchen shelves, as they are all unpacked and ready. New screwdriver to hand, enough space, all the shelves, supports and screws are there. Off we go!

Three screws left to put in place, and the screwdriver is out of juice. Yes, I got one of those modern electric ones: I am, after all, old.

I run across D2, a great tool for turning text into diagrams.

D2 produces beautifully designed output, provides an online playground, and has an easy to use yet powerful diagram formatting language.

Are guitar luthiering tools the same as violin family luthier tools? Does anyone know how one starts acquiring these over time to build their own workbench to work on both families of instruments?
