So stoked that my portalble #tea set up was featured on the Bassi bikes instagram. Slowly dialing it in to be like the one from a Psalm from the wild built #Solarpunk#bike
Enjoying some Oolong tea from Taiwan. Gang Kou Cha, 港口茶 – something about the sea? In German, it's named "Meer Oolong". Babelcarp to the rescue: https://babelcarp.org/babelcarp/junk.cgi?phrase=%E6%B8%AF%E5%8F%A3%E8%8C%B6 → "literally Harbor Tea: a lightly-oxidized Pingtung oolong, traditionally rolled and dried in the same wok, with appearance similar to meicha"
I like it! @tea#tea
Alas, this really is the last dose of Astro Red Yunnan black tea from White2Tea. Gonna be some hard choices next "Red Saturday". Until then, I will savor this today.
Ponad 300-letni krzew herbaty (odmiana Songzhong). Jego liście zbierane są raz w roku, robiona jest z nich słynna herbata wulong - dancong wulong.
Taka #herbata jest praktycznie nie do kupienia.
🧋 Australian scientists have developed a healthier form of bubble tea. The new product blends oat fibre with tapioca which reduces the drink's sugar content
Morning my pet. Today's breakfast is a deliciously out of season pumpkin cinnamon parfait. Remember that rules like these do not define you and you can enjoy an out of season treat if you want to. The only rules that define you are the rules that I give you, my pet. Now make sure you have something delicious for breakfast, dear. ❤️
I ordered a mystery box from Adagio that finally came in and I'm surprised by how good it is. I was expecting a bunch of single cup packets but they actually sent several of their sampler size packs which contains enough leaves for several cups. They even sent a pack of Tie Kuan Yin Black from their master selection.
Gold Magnolia Dancong from White2Tea is a Lighter roast, lighter oxidation oolong. Varietal is "jin yu lan". I should maybe have drunk it sooner, it is a little shy about its flavor.
Down to a couple doses of Astro Red Yunnan black tea from White2Tea. This one was mostly dust and broken leaves. Keeping the steeps very short, basically water in, pour it out. Should probably have used tea strainer.
I'm always a little nervous about Long Jing Dragonwell green tea. It's sort of a situation like Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, where it seems like there is more Italian Extra Virgin olive oil on the market than could be grown in Italy. Same for Long Jing Dragonwell, it seems like there is more Dragonwell tea on the market than could possibly be grown in Long Jing Village. Plus, I had a really bad body experience once with Dragonwell green tea.
In any case, this is a very nice Dragonwell, "Mr Long's Studio," from One River Tea, toasty nutty scent, sweet chestnut flavor, clean light taste, even oversteeped.
Often, we want everything to match, to look the same, to be part of a set that goes together.
But it is so much easier, and can be just as beautiful, when things don't match, don't look all the same -- when each piece, though it shares characteristics with others, does not look like an exact copy of the rest.
