Omnivore is an excellent open-source read-it-later alternative to Pocket, that can be self-hosted as well
I use read-it-later services extensively to save any news I want to do blog posts about later, or something I want to look at in more detail when I have time (and three monitors).

I’ve looked into @omnivore for a pocket replacement for #ReadItLater, and looks promising!
If I wanted to #selfhost my own minimal version it seems, does the flagship app allow you to specify your specific url or does it only let you select the omnivore app url?
Have used Pocket for years to save articles and stuff to read later. They want a subscription to access the full history of what I've saved - which isn't a big deal but kind of a bummer. A few days ago I discovered @omnivore! It's free, open source and honestly how much does that rock? Check it out if you like to read stuff later.
