Im looking for that simple functionality which is why Im not going with this #plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/activitypub/

One of my holy grail software quests is a community tagging (aka #folksonomy) plugin for #WordPress. The idea is that users/readers could add #tags to posts and/or images.

When WordPress was very young, there were several #CommunityTagging plugins in the WordPress plugins directory. Only one remains, long unmaintained and broken. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-folksonomy/#description

If you know a #plugin for this, please sing out!

Boosts very welcome in hope of getting this seen by as many Wordpress mavens as possible.

Hi #plugin Developers for #wordpress

Do you have code like I show in that screenshot in your product? You do? Cool. I hate you. Don't do that, okay?

  1. Powered by links on .org plugins have to be OPT IN

  2. Trying to hide it like that makes you look like you damn well knew the rule and decided to be 'clever'

  3. Don't try to be clever, be SMART.

Wow. This browser #plugin "fixes" #Mastodon by allowing you to easily follow, favorite, boost, bookmark, and reply to accounts on any Mastodon instance. If this was the default behavior, Mastodon would be a million times more popular. Thanks to @jaredzimmerman for making it!

@bumbar 1/2 Ableton are not the most agile. 😜 The hope remains that they will make Live a real #crossplatform #daw. That would certainly be good for #linuxaudio, as then perhaps even more #plugin #vendors would feel motivated to port their products. I think many shy away from the expected support effort. But I think it would be good enough if there would be limited support (or none).

    I thought I'd #share #PlaybackSpeed a #Firefox #Plugin that saves me hours a week now that #News videos all annoyingly seem to be > 10 minutes.

It speeds up any #video and seems to work with most embedded videos, not just #YouTube ones. #MeidasTouch and most #MSNBC work well at 2x

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/playback-speed/

    I hate the phrase #Lifehack for #useful #advice but for tagging's sake. There's probably one for #Chrome but I don't use that.

    Whilst you are at it:

After doing a little bit of investigating, it looks like the easiest, cheapest way of adding a news feed to our "What Works" website is to reactivate our Twitter account. Doing it through Mastodon would require more money so we could install the Mastodon plug-in — or switching to a hosting service, which isn't as cheap as I had assumed and comes with a learning curve. Thoughts?

@dankennedy_nu I'm surprised and disappointed that #wordpress .com charges more for #Mastodon #plugin

#Twitter shut down all free third party #API access earlier this year. Can't figure out why WP would charge for free but not charge for paid.

    # Operator wird doch weiter entwickelt

Gute Neuigkeiten!

Operator – Deciding what to do with Operator is difficult. […] That being said, I’m going to do a few fixes for Operator, call it 1.0 and then stop development.

The biggest news I have is that I have resumed work on Operator. In particular, I’m fixing bugs, adding a few usability enhancements and adding support for new microformat stuff like the value class/pattern for dates. I’m also considering completely removing the “Actions” toolbar and switching to interacting only with the data. I’m definitely looking for feedback on that one.

    Mein Wunsch: Microdata support 🙂

    Operator 0.8a is Available

    Neue Features:

    • RDFa support (view only – there are no actions yet)
    • Unified actions architecture – actions are no longer specific to a microformat
    • Support for Address microformat to allow some actions (like map lookups) to be more granular.
    • Better support for iframes/frames/nested documents
    • Debug mode uses X2V for hCards and hCalendars
    • Support for non HTML documents
    • Bug fixes galore.

    Tails vs. Operator

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/pfefferle/343951034/
