I've just released v0.3.2 of Pygenda - my #Psion-inspired agenda app for keyboard-equipped Linux PDAs. If you're not sure what that would look like, here's a video of an earlier version running on my #GeminiPDA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvQqFmlZ6nM
Main changes since the last release:
• An import function, so you can import entries from iCal files.
• Dutch translations - thanks to Heimen Stoffels, a freelance translator: https://github.com/Vistaus
I think the wildest thing about Pathological Demand Avoidance is that folks don't realize that we don't -just- do it to other people. Where we resist doing tasks asked of us. We also do it to ourselves and that's what causes a lot of mental paralysis. Our own heads make so many demands our body only has the energy to resist.
Training lunch break & watching vids as a brain palate cleanser of sorts. I found this fascinating. Such parenting supports weren't available 20 yrs ago. It's wonderful to see #autism#parenting#pda communities offering validation, support & education. This video reminded me of a time I visited my sister when my niece was a baby. She couldn't stop playing w/a toy that was frustrating her, she cried every time she hit it but kept doing it. #cognitivepsychology https://youtu.be/1ozg_e2XHvI?si=c_CebRLvpPZMvjOr
