My daughter is a dental student and now gets all kinds of expensive consumer dental swag and products cheap or free. She asked me yesterday if I wanted an internet connected toothbrush that graphed my brushing habits and gave real time feed back if I was doing it right.
Then today I read about this hack.
I really dont need a $300 tooth brush, even if it is free.
Welp, here we are. Just cancelled my Amazon Prime membership, because they started blasting ads on my Amazon Prime videos. No thanks: I was already paying for that service. Now I won't. Have fun with your monetization of nothing (from me).
I don't plan on reading any of the Year in Review articles that are so prevalent this time of year. I don't want to be reminded of any of it. #NoThanks
“Republicans Tap Israeli Military Veteran to Run for #Santos’s Seat
Party leaders believe Mazi Melesa Pilip has the potential to be a breakout star. But she has little political experience and her policy views are largely unknown.”
Latest party fashion: be like TaylOr Swift and Beyonce! Dress up with a big sweater or jacket over ... panties (British: "pants). Wear them over your nylons for maximim wow.
I see that the #NoThanks is back on #GooglePlay (at least here in the Netherlands). The only difference is the text on the home screen. First it read: "here you can see if the product in your hand supports killing children in #Palestine or not." (left screenshot) Now it reads: "here you can see if the product is in the boycott list or not." (right screenshot) I'd like the original one better, but it's about the functionality of course and that is still working as before.
So apparently Meta really doesn't want people discussing politics or news on Threads, 'cause those bring scrutiny. So it's all about influencers convincing people to buy stuff they don't need. Understood.
