There's some kind of saw chord synth thing I'm trying to recreate. It comes from LMFAO's Party Rock, Giga's Bring it on, and probably quite a few dubstep songs. Try as I may, I simply cannot figure out how to do it. I'm attaching a sample of the saw chord from Bring it on to this post. If anyone can tell me how to make this sound, I'd appreciate it. #Musician#Music
I hear the supersaw, there's some unison going on, a really tight envelope and/or some kind of gating/ducking effect. Someone else mentioned noise and yeah seems like there's some noise in it, or it's run through a saturator/distortion effect, or both. Could definitely be a wavetable of a supersaw being modulated, or possibly pulse width modulated saw like the classic Hoover synth (yes, you can modulate the width of a saw wave!).
@VectorP@dangero could also be some chorusing or other FX. With modern sound design the FX are nearly always a big part of the sound, so you have to take them into account.

Bowie's album Diamond Dogs was my music of choice when I was gearing up to hit the city (Montreal) for a night of partying. I'll bet I could recite every word of it.
after much configuration and long build times, I have managed to upload the 130+ albums from my :bandcamp: Bandcamp page to Faircamp, the amazing site generator by @freebliss for music catalogs by artists and/or labels.
@gavcloud generally speaking any changes made that do not alter the streaming or download formats requested (so for instance changes of description texts, site theme, etc.) should build within mere seconds. Asides for future updates of faircamp that might mandate retranscoding, you should not face any long transcoding times for a while now (if you're happy with your audio formats and don't want to change them for the time being of course!). If you observe anything counter to what I'm describing let me know, then it's a bug. ;) @keefmarshall
@gavcloud this is amazing, I think this must be the largest faircamp site in existence (at least that I'm aware of). Well done and let me know if there's any observations on what would (have) made the process easier for you. I'm happy to improve things for handling such large sites!

A couple of people have asked, since my recent instance change, about what I'm playing - musically speaking. Recently, I've been just messing around for a couple of hours, no more than 3-4 takes, and no previous idea of what I was going to do. Usually on a Sunday morning. As you can imagine it can vary in success widely but I'm also trying to learn how to record myself, get better at playing, everything really ... Here is a recent one.

Text ist vorhanden und auch die Instrumentalmusik. Jetzt brauche ich 'nur' noch eine Stimme (bevorzugt männlich). Ist für eine private Feier, weshalb sich auch gerne Amateursingende angesprochen fühlen dürfen.
Ich habe es auch schon selbst probiert, war aber keine gute Idee 😆
Auf kommerziellen Seiten konnte ich auch nicht das Richtige finden.
@wroof Unfortunately I can't dance while playing the ukulele... I can't dance even when I'm not playing the ukulele, but I definitely can't dance while I am! 😂
