I'm just trying to be persistent here. Please bear with these posts:

Anyone out there need an editor for their podcast, or perhaps to sweeten the audio tracks of their recent video project? Or do you have finished songs that need mastering?
I can help make your audio better. I have the tools and knowledge to sweeten your audio so it plays very consistently clearly and loudly.

Just came across this video, explaining how vinyl records are created. Really interesting to see the mastery of such a delicate process.

You can actually mix down tracks without relying on dynamic processors.

Here's a tip: next time you're having trouble with a mix, ditch all the compressors and limiters on your bus or master track. Just focus on levels and EQ. Cut out any unnecessary peaks and frequencies right at the beginning with a track clipper and some low/high cuts.

By stripping away plugins, you limit your options, which helps you concentrate on what really matters.

Last week @terjefjelde asked me about my techniques, use of , and thoughts about , and I promised to reply when I had more time. Here’s a too-long thread about this and other things that came to mind…

I have no experience at all with techniques developed from the pop side of things. When people I follow here talk about their and methods, the effects they use, the gear… I honestly have no idea what you all are talking about. But I’m curious! Because I see a lot of people making polished at home, using , , their own instruments, I don’t know what else—and I’d like to be able to do that too. Where do I start? What do I need to know?

So I got back into the and game recently cause I wanted to finish a project from a friend that's been lying around for years.

The style is similar to and can be described as . To get the most out of it, I did some digging on and found this amazing channel: https://www.youtube.com/@hardcoremusicstudio

He often talks about "mixing with your ears and not with your eyes" while showcasing this with the E-Channel plugin.

My #shozy Black Hole Mini has a frequency response of 16Hz to 24KHz. Listening to these well-resolving #iem, I sometimes got the impression that many #mix and #mastering engineers seem to have either an inadequate #listening environment or insufficient #hearing capacity. Because many of the #songs in my #library have unpleasant #peaks above the 7/8KHz region that should have been tamed during mix or mastering. 😲😵‍💫
