@ivory suggestions: found myself in #ivory’s Settings menu (iOS/iPadOS) and wonder… if “Translate” could be added to the Behaviors/Short Right Swipe option list? and could toot #translation be done not through #googletranslate and possibly by someone else like #deepl (and even done inline similar to #mastodon’s first party app/website)?

@ivory while we’re at it, i do tap on the gear under each toot often, usually for translation. i observe the order of the option sets spring from the gear changes depending on the toot onscreen location (in middle or near top/bottom of screen)… interesting design choice but could the order of the options be fixed because what happens now is i must triple-look before i can tap to select every time, instead of predictably tapping on the 2nd choice from the bottom or top of the list, for instance.

Twitter was able to change the logo of their iOS app but not the name, since Apple requires app names to be at least 2 characters.

They’re also still referring to the app as Twitter in the update notes (via
@sferik)

@jon wow. just learned about this, while i bought three local day-tickets when i arrived in #berlin yesterday… :-S

and i’ll have to travel between here, #frankfurt, and #stuttgart (and #zurich) these couple of weeks, i don’t know if this still makes sense, knowing my choices would probably be on slower and/or indirect #train #trains.

@jon @thorstenbutz warum nicht!? even if it’s a package slightly more expensive (if they’re inclined to charge #tourists more) but that’d be already more convenient for most people, at the same time to encourage #publictransportation. #travel #transportation
