The situation in Krynky is still the same. The small Ukrainian detachment is holding ground while Russian waves are getting repelled. This one Russian tank gets completely obliterated by a FPV drone.
Russians fielded their brand new artillery reconnaissance complex 1K148 "Yastreb-AV" somewhere in the Kherson region, but GMLRS of a HIMARS/M270 ended them quickly.
From familiar faces at home in Boston and Malden to the new bonds forged amidst the challenges of Ukraine, your presence has enriched my year beyond measure.
Thank you for the strength you gave me and the hope we share for a brighter future. May 2024 bring us safety, health, and the joy of seeing each other's faces once more. Until then, my thoughts are with you.
Russian shelling of Kherson on Dec. 26 “badly damaged" the city’s energy infrastructure, leaving 70% of consumers without power supply, Kherson Oblast Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported on Dec. 27.
⚠️ Confirmed: Live metrics show a decline in internet service in #Kherson, southern #Ukraine, amid reports of heavy Russian shelling and power outages; network data indicate connectivity is now at 46% of previous levels ⚡️📉
Russian army attacking Kherson, targeting infrastructure and murdering #Ukrainians.
Earlier today, the russian army hit the Kherson railway station and the evacuation train. More than 140 civilians were waiting for a train at the moment of the shelling. That’s a deliberate attack against civilians. russia is a terrorist state.
Magyar’s bird released another lengthy video, showing the destruction of all kinds of vehicles.
I found this part interesting. It shows Russians massing near Korsunka, east of Krynky. Three Russian BMPs got caught in the open and when Russians realized that FPV drones were coming down, they hid in the bushes. At least one BMP got hit.
The area around Stepove north of Avdiivka is a shooting gallery for Ukrainian Bradley IFVs. All Russian attempts to overcome Ukrainian defenses in that sector ended so far with their own demise. The tree lines are piles of Russian corpses and burnt out husks of Russian armor.
Ukrainian planes using JDAMs hit Russian warehouses containing equipment and ammunition of BM-27 “Uragan” MLRS. The strike occurred near Abrykosivka, Kherson.
In the end of the footage you can even see two Russian planes, likely Su-25.
Magyar’s birds had nice catch. A Russian TOS-1A was sent to attack the Ukrainian detachment in Krynky and got eliminated, obviously with ammunition still in the tube. The explosion is spectacular.
Ukrainian forces continue operations on the east (left) bank of the #Dnipro River in #Kherson Obl. amid reported difficult conditions in the area as part of an apparent effort to set conditions for future UKR operations and the resettlement of west (right) bank Kherson.
I’m going through the latest batch of videos and pictures coming from the Avdiivka front and they show absolute carnage among Russian troops. We already exceeded the amount of Russian losses from Vuhledar some weeks ago, but the last few days severely increased this already staggering figure, with literally no gains in land at all.
Avdiivka appears to be currently the single-largest contributor in progressing Russia’s demographic catastrophe.
Since the war in Ukraine began, thousands of people have fled Russian-occupied areas over myriad routes. Now, nearly two years in, “the corridor” is their only option to cross directly into #Ukraine.
Allowed to move freely through Russian-controlled zones, most take buses to the corridor from homes throughout the country: #Zaporizhzhia and #Kherson in the southeast, #Donetsk and #Luhansk in the northeast, and #Crimea, the southern peninsula that #Russia annexed in 2014.
Magyar has been quite busy recently. Again, he and his team released another long video showing several Russian BMD-4, BMD-4M, BTR-82A and BMD-2 destroyed near Krynky. The Russian paratroopers are absolutely getting wrecked in this for Magyar’s birds target-rich environment.
