I am a very firm believer in the idea that if a company spends more than half of a job advert spouting about how great they are, all their 'benefits, and doesn't least the pay, then that is a company you do NOT want to work for.
Especially if the job description itself is so vague it could be anything between janitor and Pope.

Too many years dealing with the public and shitty employers has left me burn out. Not to mention the fact that I don't drive which is a deal breaker apparently for many potential employers around these parts.
Question is, what exactly? Writing, community management, social media, customer service, etc?
Preferably without actually dealing with phone calls.

I'm looking for a job.
I'm pretty good with the codes. The Python codes, the C++ codes, the Node.js/Javascript codes. Getting up to speed with the Rust codes right now and having fun doing it. I know databases and caches and message queues and continuous integrations and clouds and assemblers and compilers and debuggers and linkers and unices. I can build, I can document, I can debug, I can design, I can test, I can teach, I can mentor, I can analyse, I can reverse engineer. You get forward engineering too, but I don't have an engineering degree. Been doing this for a while. I'm on the older side of things.
Pretty good with numbers too. If for some reason you want me to solve a partial differential equation, I'm on it. I can also do stats and I'll do it even if you prefer to call it data science.
I live in Canada, so that's where I need to get hired. I prefer remote, but if you want me to go into an office, it's going to have to be in Montreal.

The Molasses Flood has laid off a bunch of people -- including me. Working there was great, the people were great, I was excited about the project. This sucks.
