Now, DK Govt. is seeking legal ways to limit burning of religious texts. "#FreedomOfSpeech being limited", people object.
Which, sure, it is.
But it's already illegal here to burn flags and national symbols of foreign states already. So how's this different? Genuinely curious.
And another person tries to convince me Greenwald and Taibbi are not to be trusted, I say they have been vocal on these issues of censorship for years, and they block me.
Maybe that's not the best evidence I'm wrong that people are putting politics above addressing the issue of closing down discourse, but who knows...
Censorship and moderation arent even slightly related. If I say you can't have liberal views on my website/business/back yard - that isn't censorship, its me utilising agency.
The only reason Twitter /YT/Facebook shouldn't be allowed to censor ideas is because they act as public squares. If blogger /rumble/locals wanted to moderate opinions they have every right to. And I will avoid them if they do, like how I avoid Twitter/YT/fb

With AI, the same actor can now create 10 synthetic journalists, publishing fact-checks per each of their schemes.
