I see the blue sky behind the maple leaves, but when I showed the finished painting to my hubby, he said he sees the leaves floating on aqua blue water in a pond or pool.
What do you see?
Second attempt at color grading in #RawTherapee. I found out that the previous ones looked much too dark. Which do you prefer, the first or second one in this post? 😁 ⋅
Two more days until we have to leave for Galveston Texas to catch the ship on which we are sail. I'm not sure where we are going, though I did look at the itinerary, Mexico for sure and probably, Belize and/or Honduras. I'll take Ben and Charlie to the vet for boarding which I always feel guilty about. They take good care of them but it's not home.
My first cruise was 1961, I was 8 years old. My dad was a sailor and got stationed at Yokosuka Japan. We traveled on a ship, the USS Saint Patrick, a troop ship of sorts. It took two weeks and stopped in Hawaii along the way. Three years later we took the same ship back to the California. Occasionally, I search online for the ship, but so far, no luck.
“I can't imagine why people come on cruise if they don't want to mix and be cheerful. One might as well stay at home and be depressed.” - Andrew Garve, The Late Bill Smith
Two oak leaves in warm orange and yellow fall colors are dancing in an autumn breeze drifting and swirling through the sky in this abstracted watercolor painting.
