I’m in London this week. In Victoria Park in Hackney the greenery is reaching its peak. The verdant nature of these boldly planted and laid out parks is key to providing the ‘lungs of London’.
You can read more about the Park in the ALT below…
We had planned to go on a trail, but the park gate was still closed. It used to be 'open at dawn' but now not until 7am. Change of plan. A #silentsaturday instead at the lake on a cool (52F/11C) morning. A heron flew away as we approached.

It's (only) about 80F (25C) but it felt like summer in a park with little shade. You can see some foam in and around Kengo's mouth. We had to take two water breaks. In the third picture, no he wasn't about to squat but ready to charge as he saw another dog.

We had to take a different trail because a loud noisy group was heading to the originally planned trail. Kengo stopped many times to 'graze.' The pedestrian bridge had a makeover with new wood.

So, we made a quick trip to the lake for more tests. It's hot at 84F(29C) and a huge crowd of families etc. picnicking/cooking out. Clearly this new 56mm lens isn't for snapshots and can't capture Kengo's huge body, but I gave it a shot anyway.
