Als organisaties hun Mastodon-account in plaats van hun X-account op hun website zouden vermelden, zou ons leven een stuk gemakkelijker zijn. :mastogrin:

Dit komt omdat saldering en marktwerking niet samengaan. Wanneer jij op zonnige dagen stroom levert, is het aanbod groot en de marktprijs laag. Maar vanwege saldering krijg je (virtueel) een te hoge prijs voor je stroom. Vandebron ea betalen je boven de marktprijs. Dat compenseert Vandebron door te hoge prijzen te vragen. Maar die gelden ook voor niet-zonnepaneelbezitters. Snijdt hout.

Maar wat in donkere dagen?

Daar zijn dynamische prijzen voor die afhankelijk zijn van vraag en aanbod. Maar het nadeel is dat niet iedereen daar van kan profiteren. Omdat huishoudens nou eenmaal op vaste tijden energie nodig hebben, zoals in de avond. Of je auto moeten opladen omdat je de volgende dag weer naar je werk moet.

Wanneer juist piekuren een hoog tarief hebben, worden bepaalde groepen juist extra benadeeld. Daarom zijn er vaste tarieven die uitmiddelen.

Nee, de markt verdwijnt niet. Particulieren zullen hun ziel en zaligheid, lees: energie, nog steeds aan grote marktpartijen moeten verkopen. Die hun geld niet meer gaan verdienen met opwekking maar met distributie.

Dat betekent dat de marge komt van het verschil tussen inkoop en verkoop, minus distributiekosten. Saldering ondermijnt dit verdienmodel.

Als particulier heb je niets in brengen in dit systeem.

When I was young, some 50 years ago, the whole family of four went on holiday from Holland to Italy using a sleeper train. (At that time there still was a large network of night trains in Europe.) We never complained about the lack of showers, dining cars or washing facilities. We brought our own food with us. It was just part of the adventure. Or just normal travel conditions. We didn't suffer… 🙂

BTW When I travel economy class on an airplane, I cannot shower either.

I understand. Well, the best shower experience in a train was in Spain. The Trenhotel trains were really comfortable. But Corona was a good, in fact bad, excuse for the Spanish state Railways to abolish sleeper train all together. Booh for #Renfe.

As long as only the Austrian Railways ÖBB commission new carriages, most night trains are somehow a travel into the past. Nostalgia for me. But not all travellers have the same romantic attitude.

If we will travel from Amsterdam to Barcelona v.v. is still written in the stars. The European Commission endorsed this plan, but it are the national railway infrastructure organisations who will have to give the green light.

I would recommend a visit to the #Patent office - online is also possible - and you will be stunned how many silly #Inventions have already been made. That's one of the reasons I still haven't invented something.

But #JohnMastodon's inventions always amaze us. The number of patents is innumerable.
