Hallo Liebe Leute.
Hello dear people. I wasn't around much for a few days because of a little 'not in the mood' phase. I think it's over. Now I feel the need to share some donkeys with you 😉. Have a great day everyone.
Another picture of Kwiatek being very sleepy. He probably didn’t even notice me taking pictures of him because he’s deaf.
But as soon as the other horses started moving, making the earth vibrate, he woke up and looked around if there was anything going on worth standing up for.
He is such a good little donk. He really grew on me.
I got some extra good #donkey hugs this morning!
When Samwise wants a hug, he gives me a Look, and I bend over at the waist and shuffle over in front of him, with my back like a table for his head. He drapes his head over me, or he grooms my coat with his teeth, and I scratch and massage his chest. Eventually my arms got tired and I wriggled out from under him, but he kept his head low. That’s an invitation, so I offered to rub his ears and he loved that. Afterwards, he was too soggy for me to be willing to scratch his back, but I scratched his butt a bit before I headed on to the chicken coop.
Miss D looked even worse. Sh’d just rolled after standing in the rain for hours, and she was covered in bits of soggy manure and gravel.
I cleaned their stall yesterday! It’s pristine! Why are they like this? Horsekeeping in January and February is so unrewarding 😂
I took this photo almost 17 years ago. Someone who bought a print of this photo in a charity event just as long ago just reached out about purchasing a larger print because they still loved it after all these years. It made my day.. Dusty Rose passed away years ago but but I'm glad her beauty is still appreciated by some.
