I drive an EV. I do not suggest that others drive an EV. It's the car for me, it might not be the car for you. Despite this, I have a friend that constantly engages in discussion with me on why I won't be able to convince her to get an EV.
I have never tried to convince anyone to get one! I'm not sure why she does this.
Tony Stoddard posted this excellent photo on #Flickr today of a kōtare/NZ kingfisher that he rescued yesterday from two lanes of speeding car traffic after it had been hit by a car.
Tony reports that luckily, after 2.5 hours, the bird had perked up and was ready to be released.
When you hear the phrase "married assassin" what vehicle do you imagine them driving? The assassin is a queer woman. Not ninja assassin either. Hired killer assassin.
I've come across a few new cars (Fiat) in Missouri for around $20k, not something you see very often anymore. I'm debating whether to make the drive to look or not. Rates are still high but my credit union threw me a bone on financing, a couple points under national average. This car would be driven by me for 4 yrs then given to our daughter at 16, I think in long terms.
Has anyone seen any new cars for that price with an interest rate under 4%? I'd like to hear about it if so.
The 1998 Fiat Multipla is almost always included on clickbaity listicles about the ugliest ever cars. The Autopian's Adrian Clarke makes the case for why its design, while aesthetically challenging, was actually brilliant. "A constant criticism of car design I hear a lot is the ‘form should follow function’ bulls***," he writes. "Be careful what you wish for, because the Multipla is what you could end up with."
“Ciclovía is really cool because there is a lot more space for us,” says seven-year-old Oliver Rojas, who is out #cycling with his parents and is baffled to hear that this innovative scheme does not exist in the rest of the world.”

The automaker is asking drivers of the 2002 QX4, 2002-2004 Pathfinder and 2002-2006 Sentra to stop driving their vehicles and contact to Nissan for a free recall repair.
As I heard the Indy cars zipping around in circles on my father in law's TV, I remarked, "You know, people ride around at 200mph or more every day on bullet trains and planes, and nobody finds it exciting. It's mundane, like walking or sleeping. But do it recklessly in tiny little metal boxes, instead of safe big metal boxes, and people get excited. That's weird."
