Is it not a delight to have friends visiting from afar? Or, in this case, to have a friend send you a whole bunch of fun new games to play! (from a kickstarter of hers that I backed)
Thanks to the inimitable @StuffByBez for some new opportunities for fun.
Phoenix Games Unveils All-New Collectible Card Game "Vampire: The Masquerade - Clans of London" in Partnership with World of Darkness
an immersive mobile collectible card game (CCG) named Vampire: The Masquerade - Clans of London. Fans of World of Darkness can anticipate their first taste of the game during PAX West
I got some #MagicTheGathering JumpStart packs for my birthday this year, finally started playing a bit with them this evening with my housemate. Very worried this is something I could get hooked on, it's a lot of fun... #MTG#CardGames
One of my favorite #cardGames is #Machiavelli, similar to #Rummy but where the players have the opportunity to rearrange all played groups and runs as they please to make it easier to add their cards (as long as at the end of the play everything on the table is valid).
Implementing a lesson learned from prior #GenCon experiences & (mostly) taking Monday off so we can play the games we bought! So far: Wandering Towers (LOVE IT) & this great re-theme of Bohnanza, one of our most favorite card games. Same rules, just dahlias instead of beans. #TabletopGames#CardGames
Played some Dominion: Plunder, a hilariously complex expansion to Dominion. We each were like “wait, how does that work?” many times, but in a good way. Treasure cards that are kind of actions, whaaaaaat? #TabletopGames#CardGames#Dominion
Those of you who are into #games, #boardgames, #cardgames as well as #politics and #liberation: Are you aware of the wonderful work that's being done by TESA Collective? Some very clever and, frankly, fun games, and if you need a workshop for your company or organisation, they can help, too https://www.tesacollective.com/
Infinite in #MarvelSnap again this season. The ladder feels very botty but with conquest mode it's nice to have time to have fun grinding tickets. Shout out to SuperTechGod on Twitch for his super fun deck.
It's a two-player combo-building game that's quick to play and actually kind of exhilarating in its possibility space.
In each round, you choose 3 of your heroes — cards with special abilities — to mix into your standard deck of soldiers. Your goal is to get better combos into play than your opponent can, with the same selection of cards to choose from.
For instance, here's Elliot preemptively dominating battle 3 with his Prince card...
The game plays in 30-60 minutes. It's sophisticated, approachable, engaging and fun. It's going straight into our game night shelf, I think it's going to see a lot of play around here.
If you like games, I recommend it HIGHLY. Check it out.
Been watching way too many Watch it Played and SU&SD videos lately—really need to set aside time to play (and maybe design) some board/card/tabletop games. 😅
🧡🧡
When I see people on here or IRL I feel them and empathize with their struggles.
There are moments I just want to tell that he or she is beautiful and special and give out a hug.
We're all here during our little time on earth to try and overcome our inner obstacles, develop ourself and try to live out the inner person we truly feel inside.
I wasn't seen during the first 2 difficult decades of my life, however I want to use my voice now:
I see YOU, you're NOT alone and you're AMAZING!
🧡🧡
@Furball@JayMX@billzismyname I guess it would be the Wild Reverse. #Uno#CardGames I know an accessible web thing where it can be played online. Haven't done this in a while. Could be fun with some #GayMastodon buddies.
(allow me another moment of unapologetic self-promotion. I'm excited about this!)
Oops, I did it again!
Invented a game,
to help you talk good.
(With apologies to Ms. Spears. 😎)
I figured if I could create a card game (or "tabletop facilitation and training tool") to assist CISOs and other infosec executives in communicating their cyber risks, doing the same for marketing should be just as easy.
It took five years, but I hold in my hands the prototype for my new MessageDeck workshop tool, a system of 150 cards with prompts and techniques to help your team get to the bottom of your first-principles messaging and begin nailing your marketing.
🤖 Looking to help your technical team be a little more ... human?
🚀 Need to accelerate how your marketing agency supports clients?
🤓 Just looking to be a nerd that talks good?
That's why I built the MessageDeck. Coming soon, but here's a sneak peek.
Want more? Drop me a DM. I'll be setting up early access workshops for an exclusive set of hand-selected teams (perfect for founders and small tech teams).
