Played through Aeon's End: Legacy with my friend Dan in two weekends flat. That was a LOT of fun, and made for us two custom, unique breach magi that we can use in (re-)playing the New Age box and then the Outcasts campaign.
All in all, loved it. Tempted to do a custom box to hold our magi. Planning an expedition for the two of us for the next time we get to play.
Magic: The Gathering has come a long way since it debuted at Gen Con in 1993. Last year, it became a billion-dollar brand. The genius behind it, mathematician Richard Garfield, left Wizards of the Coast, Magic's publisher, shortly after it was sold to Hasbro in 1999 and has subsequently expressed an apparent disillusionment with what the game has become. I am too exhausted from work to do anything terribly taxing. So I've been re-cataloguing the things I'd like to knit. Some #knitting patterns have been bookmarked for more than 10 years. I don't know if I'll ever make them. In #CardGames , I know Team Covenant talk about "the game outside the game": researching sorting, dreaming about cards. There is a pleasure in these activities, even if they don't look productive from the outside

Played a two player round of Clank! yesterday. If you need more board game in your deckbuilding game, well here you go. Venturing deep into the dungeon & scrambling to get out alive with treasure is no simple task!
The game mechanics are straightforward & logically designed, there's just a lot to keep track of. Setup/teardown is also a fairly involved process. Make sure you understand all the rules before playing, it's worth the effort. Recommended!

Bought this game on the day of its release. I had played its demo during the latest Next Fest and decided that, yes, I very much would like to continue playing it and that the 10% discount on release was good enough!

Played a 1v1 round of #Dominion this afternoon! While not my first deckbuilding game, I've had a lot of fun with the versatile market setup on here lately.
I have the big box that comes bundled with the Intrigue expansion, but so far the base cards have been enough to create some enjoyable back and forth games.
Do you play Dominion? What are your favorite Kingdom card combos to use? We went for a simple layout today, something more interactive might be fun next time.
@rootcompute My spouse and I would take it with us on long flights, and squeeze everything into two tray tables. They're a ruthless player - I almost never won. Love Dominion.
