While spending some time, exploring and photographing the beauty of the Caribbean Island of Grand Turk, located in the Turks and Caicos Islands I was walking a small road . . .
It was a good day, a quiet day, and it passed pleasantly out on the water as one literally watched the world go by.
Or more accurately, the world stayed in one place as you sailed by it.
And now, as evening approaches, it's time to think about coming back to shore, but then again, there's really no hurry about that. There's no hurry about a lot of things . . .
This was an unforgettable morning and a unique scene that will never happen again. The John B Aird lake freighter was decommissioned in 2017 (this photo is from 2007). Also, I was at the Soo Locks before 6 am to capture this shot, but visitors are no longer allowed to enter the park before 9 am.
Sweet giraffe, ink painting. Often referred to as 'Africa's gentle giant', the giraffe symbolizes grace, peace, individuality, protection, communication, perception, and farsightedness.
