It's been a year since we first booted up #Zelda#TearsOfTheKingdom! ⚔️🛡️ What do professional cartographers think of this #map of Hyrule? How does it stack up against the perfect 10 out of 10 map in #BreathoftheWild?
Would there be any interest in plush sandseals from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild? We do have a couple different felt/fleece/button colors. #PlushSandseals#LegendOfZelda#BreathOfTheWild

Wait, #LegoFortnite isn't a big online pvp battle thing? I thought that's what the whole idea behind #Fortnite. After watching Floydson's 100 Days video, it's clearly a survival crafter. And I think it's single player, possibly with some co-op options?
I don't think #Minecraft is the best comparison—it reminds me a lot more of #BreathOfTheWild with the blueprints, janky vehicles, gliders, character leveling, and potions. It doesn't look like it has the puzzles, plot, or boss fights of #BOTW. To offset that, the village building; automation via NPCs, and machinery add some potential for depth.
I guess this is just me being old and out of touch with the games played by kids these days. Certainly looks fun.
I'm happy with how much more stuff there is in the Tears of the Kingdom story. It may not be a whole lot, but it's way better than Breath of the Wild. Not done yet.
I can’t believe I finally finished the Messages From An Ancient Era quest in #Zelda. I’ve been working on this one for months, bit by bit. Finally turned my attention to it and checked it off.
Wish I knew how many more quests were left to do. Only 4 active at the moment, including the 2 mains left. GETTING CLOSE!
@gedeonm I’m pretty sure I clocked close to 400 on #BreathOfTheWild because I finished it, then restarted a no mini-map/pins run.
In #TearsOfTheKingdom I am 210 hours in, 100 shrines 75 lightroots and not even 10% of the Koroks. While I doubt I will 100% it, I’m trying to get close. I skipped a lot of side quests and such in #BOTW but want to savor #TOTK so I’m trying to do all the things!
Alternatively, playing CP alongside #Starfield is interesting. CP has a MUCH more modern presentation but there’s a #BreathOfTheWild effect where when I go back to Starfield, it looks better than I remember.
I found one shop (the one shop?) in HK that still sells #BreathOfTheWild .
Kid asked why not just buy the digital copy in the Nintendo Shop?
Because it's the same price, and the physical copy is obviously superior! He doesn't get it.
The digital copy could be made useless at any time
It's tens of gigabytes of local storage, my friend bought an SD card simply because he downloaded BotW
If I'm not going to play this any more I can give it to a friend
His argument:
If you sit on it, you could break it
Fair. Wear and tear does happen. Apparently his friend broke one of his Switch games. But, just treat it right and I'm 100% sure the physical copy will last longer than your access to the digital copy.
I finally cleared the Vah Naboris Divine Beast quest. I think the worst part of the quest was sneaking through the Yiga Clan hideout. Once that was done, getting to Vah Naboris, stopping it, and climbing into it wasn't too bad.
The rotating cylinder parts of the quest did make my physically queasy, but looking away from my TV helped a lot. The boss of this area wasn't too bad either. #BreathOfTheWild#Zelda#VideoGames#ShareYourGames
I just ragequit the #BreathOfTheWild DLC #MasterSword final proving grounds so hard, lol. I managed to get to the last stage by the skin of my teeth, with plenty of bows but no arrows, and several weapons but none i can use with a shield...killed everything down to the last lynel, then the rat bastard somehow swung and hit me THROUGH a wall and took me out 🙃
I've been making a lot of progress in Breath of the Wild. (Being home on surgery induced disability tends to produce a lot of down time.) I've unlocked about half the map, which makes it much easier to explore.
I found myself forced to at least one stealth mission, found a second tech lab (where I was forced to disrobe), and complete a trial where all of my items including weapons and armor were taken from me. #BreathOfTheWild#Zelda#ShareYourGames
My current playthrough of Breath of the Wild is a lot more productive than my 2017 attempt. I've actually managed to complete some story objectives. This includes freeing one divine beast from Ganon's influence, and locating two more.
I've visited the Zora and the Gerudo. And somehow completely missed a fairy spring during my first attempt at the game. I also never rode a horse. I just wish there was less emptiness in the vast open world.
I can't not giggle at "rusty claymore" whenever I run across one in #BreathOfTheWild or #TearsOfTheKingdom because it makes me think of "rusty trombone". Do not look that up.
I can't believe I'm about to be one of those "did you know (plant) from (video game) is real???" people but this radish I've sort of ignored until it went to flower is starting to look awfully familiar.
