Ok #bike folks. I’m starting to research whether to consider an #ebike for #bikecommuting and local errands.
Any advice for someone just starting to investigate, things you wish you’d known, key considerations & trade offs, etc. ? Also appreciate any tips on bikes that are good for very short folks. (And please, don’t try to tell me all bikes work for all sizes … )

I was once at a red light and the #driver of Escalade rolled down his window and said “you need to stay out of the road. You’re taking up too much space!” This happened again with the driver of a lifted #Jeep. I’m the #roadhog apparently.
I’ve had several drivers yell “Get a car!!!” at me, which is still very confusing logic.

The highway was expanded in 2008 and hailed as a success. Within five years, peak hour travel times on the freeway were longer than before the expansion.
Adding lanes is fine if you want more traffic. But most highway expansion projects, including those in progress in Texas, cite reducing traffic as the primary goals.
