I was responding to the person using the walker, which is what I have to use. My walker is a nice one, but trying to navigate ice ridges is something I will not even try. I so miss my bicycle!
@Willow@ned I love when the walker wheels catch on the ridges of the sidewalk causing you to almost topple over unless you're lucky enough to get your balance back & not go right over!

Sprained my thumb doing that very thing. Sounds silly, but I was not about to topple if I could help it! (Sucker still hurts.) Aren't these golden years great?
@Willow@ned It's the pain I get up my arms into my shoulders and back from pushing my walker over ice and snow on the sidewalks cuz most people don't realize that trampled down isn't cleared and it's like going over a gravel road when you're pushing a walker that does me in.

Where I live, there are few sidewalks. I agree about the upper back and shoulder thing. Wanting to get an electric tricycle, but on my income, it's going to take awhile.
