Today I have 14 services running on my own domain, with admin panel, backups, monitoring, email, SSO (so good to have the same user across all the services!)
I still need to do some tweaks to the services, but for a single user all running well.
As I am using 2 VPS the total cost is € 9,50/month + a donation of 5€ to :yunohost: project.
I could run everything on my own home, maybe I will do that in the future.
Well. I now have a local machine running Nextcloud, and I'm experimenting with an external storage folder and then syncing it with my desktop.
Configuration was a little finicky, and doesn't quite agree with the online documentation for Nextcloud. Might be something special to the YunoHost app. But in this case, the external folder needs to be owned by "nextcloud:nextcloud" (that is user & group).
Synchronization looks like it might take awhile. The whole folder, with all the project files, including EXR renders is 720 GB.
Ah yes, it predicts 10 hours, in fact. :welp:
(This is with both machines in my office! I shudder to think how long it would take across the net, especially with my rural ISP).
Perhaps I will find a way to trim that. I could probably make the renders a separate share from the source files, for example. #Nextcloud#LunaticsProject#YunoHost
Also bei der Installation von #Yunohost hatte ich keinerlei Probleme. Ja: Es muss aktuell Debian 11 als Grundlage installiert sein. Aber das steht auch in der Doku #rtfm 😉

Ich hoste mit #Yunohost meine eigenen Dienste. Darunter z.b. #invidious#searxng und #xmpp. Nun wollte ich gerne mal nachfragen, wie sicher das ganze ist, wenn ich z.b. Die Suchmaschine und auch XMPP öffentlich ins Netz stellen würde; was muss beachtet werden? Oder sollte ich davon ganz absehen?
Wie kann ich denn #Yunohost mit einer eigenen Domain betreiben?
Ich habe die Domain hinzugefügt und dann unter DNS die empfohlenen Einträge gesetzt.
Dort steht jetzt aber noch:
YunoHost konnte den Registrar, der diese Domäne verwaltet, nicht automatisch erkennen. Du solltest die DNS-Einträge, wie unter yunohost.org/dns beschrieben, manuell konfigurieren.

j'aimerais bien me lancer avec un ersatz d'application #django mais je ne sais par où commencer. En attendant, je lis la doc, mais je crains que cela ne me soit pas suffisant (oui, je pars de loin).
#airsonic_advanced ayant abusé de ma patience en refusant le rss de plusieurs podcast (après avoir tenté vainement d’y accéder via une appli), j’ai installé une instance d’ #Audiobookshelf pour héberger mes livres audio et suivre mes podcasts.
L’interface est agréable, ça a l’air stable pour le moment. Le téléchargement et la gestion des bibliothèques sont simplissimes.
Mon mobile est trop vieux pour leur appli, mais c’est parfaitement responsive, donc l’appli est toute trouvée. À suivre…

For what it's worth working back a bit on YunoHost with the other contributors (doing peripheral things like meeting management, adding test and CI stuff and clicking on merge because are scared of doing that) and it feels good ^w^
Hello la Mastonie, tite question du dimanche: avez-vous une technique pour bloquer les scanners des zinternets, type Shodan, Censys ? Avec une blaclist d'IP ? au niveau du firewall ? au niveau du service web? Dans mon cas ce serait pour protéger une instance #yunohost ?

Today I discovered that I can't participate in polls, either from the web version or from any app.
Oddly enough, only whalebird shows me correctly the poll options and I can even choose the one I like, but the submit button doesn't seem to have any effect.
Is this a friendica problem in general or could it be a bug unique to my instance ( on #Yunohost )?

Je l'ai fait il y a quelques jours.
Bon, j'ai aussi mon Nextcloud installé à la main (via un script maison certes). #Yunohost c'est vraiment bien.

Comme Calibre-web ne permet pas de stocker de livres audios, Aisonic me sert à les stocker et les écouter.
Les presento mi próximo proyecto ñoño: Armar mi propio NAS
Voy a remplazar un Qnap de 2 discos por un sistema armado con 4 discos. Ya tengo el gabinete, fuente de poder, procesador, RAM, SSD (Reciclada de la que cambié en el laptop) y los discos duros los reutilizo del Qnap. Solo falta que me llegue la placa madre.
Voy a utilizar TrueNAS SCALE como sistema operativo.
También levnté una VM con #Yunohost para hacer pruebas, pero aún no he hecho nada con eso, ya que logré implementar todo lo que quería con docker dentro de un contenedor LxC.
Eso es por ahora el update de mi pasatiempo ñoño/friki.
