I just launched a new #AppleVisionPro application! Lettore Music is a compact music player utility for Apple Music that allows you to place it above or below any window on Apple Vision Pro allowing quick access to your music. I have a lot of upcoming features planned so stay tuned. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lettore-music/id6478786897
For #visionOS developers: As we approach first software update for #visionPro I want to add support for visionOS „Device Support" files in #DevCleaner - anyone could confirm me what is the format of the folder that contains them, if you can just DM me (or send via e-mail, contents of this folder if you ever used Vision Pro for development: ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/visionOS DeviceSupport
“It took me several days of use to be fully convinced that Vision Pro delivered an exceptional new level of unique immersive entertainment, as well as a completely new way of working with creative and productivity apps. It is still incrementally sinking in — and impressing me on new levels — how profoundly Vision Pro's immersive and interactive visuals adapt our way of thinking about ideas in a natural, immersively visual and directly interactive way.” #visionpro https://mastodon.social/@appleinsider/112038249491501321
Went to visit Disney Springs and Hollywood Studios the past few days. I tried out @_Davidsmith's technique to capture hi-res panoramas on iPhone. Really impressed with how much detail stitching multiple 48mp images retains vs standard pano mode. Photoshop did a good job handling movement, which I was concerned about in such a busy location. Time to start retaking all the shots I took previously.😅 If you have a AVP check them out. https://adobe.ly/430ULoN#visionpro@caseyliss
My home office/guest room (until today) had a Murphy bed and a nice big desk. The Murphy bed has always been a bit on the janky side, never really worked that well, but was a great bed when we had guests.
Last week, we bought a new living room sofa. The old sofa (a very comfy queen size fold-out) was in limbo.
Today I ripped out the Murphy cabinet and made room for the old couch.
Now, I have a full-time couch and a part-time bed in my office instead of a big cabinet. Highly recommended.
This was mostly in service of the usage of my #VisionPro, which is a great couch computer. I use a standing desk most of the day, so I wanted somewhere nice (and permanent) to sit in my office when I used it.
We are starting to see new realms of inaccessibility when it comes to gaming and spatial computing. I can zoom in on content, but certain hand gestures just don't work Fruit Ninja is amazing, but I can't get past part of the tutorial. #VisionPro
I made a new app that lets you have your favourite websites as light weight widgets all around you on visionOS.
I think this way to stay update to date.
It still doesn’t sit right that in #VisionPro, there's a top-level Control Center thingy to set the volume and light/dark mode of your immersive Environment, but you have to open the app switcher view to change Environments.
Not only is the goal of showing virtual screens everywhere wildly unambitious, it’s just an enhanced version of what we already had in the ’90s. #AR has the potential to create new, more socially engaged ways of working and playing. Bigger screens or windows hovering in virtual space, on the other hand, is the existing desktop computing paradigm on steroids. 🤷♂️ #Apple#VisionPro#UX
