#GodzillaMinusOneshould be a blueprint for doing #VFX effectively. Not the only way, and not the way for everything, but certainly studios should be looking closely at it and The Creator for amazing work that doesn't cost as much as seemingly the norm out there.
Hip hip hooray for "Godzilla Minus One," the first Godzilla movie to win an Oscar. It won in the Best Visual Effects category. Variety has all the details on how the film was made with 35 VFX artists and a $15 million budget.
I really, really, REALLY hate 'Eye Adaption' as a graphics technology. Like, a lot. It's never done well and it just makes it harder to see things when I need to. Not least of all because it's always based on the position of the camera, not the character I'm controlling
