Labour’s plan to boost care workers’ pay ‘could cost taxpayers billions’
Another day, another Article in The Times promoting the Tufton Street cabal who re unwilling to contribute to society but very eager to leech from the public purse. Intriguingly, they are called out on it (‘fink tank’ and paper) by all of the comments as of Sunday morning.
'It is difficult to identify the purpose of a future Starmer government – what he seeks to accomplish beyond achieving office' [and] 'apart from his actual name, little ties Starmer to the ethical and spiritual concerns of Labour’s early founders, figures such as Keir Hardie and George Lansbury'!
While this certainly chimes which much expressed here.... perhaps it also means he's amenable to a post-election influence from those with good/appealing ideas?
@ChrisMayLA6 I suspect that, like so many politicians, #Starmer is likely to be more amenable to post-election influence from those with deep pockets and addresses in #TuftonStreet .
How easy is it for the junktanks on Tufton Street to be Downing Street’s outriders and put completely bogus ‘research’ into the rightwing papers of the UK about #NetZero? And do they get away with it?
It has been long understood that the use of the word democratic in a state's name is a good indicator that it is anything but. Witness the Deutsche Demokratische Republik (t East Germany) and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
We must to accept that any British organisation with the name ‘Research’ in the title must assumed to be anything but. Beloved of Tufton St, the Northern/European research groups represent an absence of any. #TuftonStreet#Gaslighting
@Peternimmo It is worth while reposting the very interesting link that was posted in a previous discussion about Restore[sic] Trust By Bob Parson which discusses the origins if not the motivations for the Tufton Street Bar Stewards.
