Holy week record or "Registro do feriado da Semana Santa".
Here in Brazil we have a catholic tradition called "malhar o Judas" or "Judas Burning". We usually make poppets made of cloth material to burning them down in the end of the Holy Week. Althought the puppet carries Judas's name, we create them based in politicians (like presidents) as a "social critical".
We went to Devon Avenue (Little India / Little Pakistan) yesterday for some shopping. It is Ramadan right now and many places are having Ramadan or Eid sales. The photo is not the best. The day was grey and you can see the reflection in the window. But there is just something that I really liked about the sign.
I grew up in Paris, but only went to see the tower once, when I was a kid. That’s usually what happens to the locals: they don’t do the touristy things.
A few years ago, I went with a friend of mine on a foggy Sunday morning and took some photos. The structure is amazing and makes great monochrome shots.
