Just sold full wall canvas version of my Extinction photo art, 30 minutes ago 😃 My first big sale for photo art in 2 years. I'm getting paid extra, because my customer wants the image to be smoothly spread out over a huge wallspace.
#SilentSunday
Me & my hiking friend saw only one other person out in the rains & trails, yesterday. Once you go deeper into the forest, the rain doesn't fall through the trees' canopy as much. The air smelled so good!
I created some new photo art this morning. 2 new pieces; 1 b/w piece here.
They're visual contrasts between devastating logging #clearcuts & world famous #OldGrowth tree, Big Lonely Doug. These creations are sparked by my lifelong love of ancient #forests & the need to keep protecting them, against government lies & #ecocide industry greed.

The former federal leader of the Greens & six supporters spent Sunday night at a #logging site in the Styx Valley after harvesting machines moved in about a week ago.
This is my fave #tree on the #WildPacific hiking trail in #Ucluelet on Vancouver Island.
I prefer staying in #Ukee over Tofino. I will do day trips to Tofino while up that way but have always loved being around Ukee much more.
This is the scene this morning at the Belmont Hill School parking lot construction site on Park Ave in Belmont. Clear-cutting is taking place while a MA Department of Environmental Protection appeal is still under review. No wildlife survey was conducted before clear-cutting began. Residents are reporting signs of displaced wildlife in the area already.
