Ještě krátký návrat k saharskému písečnému prachu na přelomu března a dubna. Takto se projevil na našich filtrech v rámci staniční sítě imisního monitoringu. Vzorkuje se vždy 24 hodin. Vyfotil jsem i srovnání jeden den před, tři dny epizody přechodu saharského písečného prachu a jeden den po.

È da quando ero bambino che vedo periodicamente la #sabbia del #Sahara trasportata occasionalmente dalle nuvole fino nei nostri cieli. Un fenomeno normalissimo. Questo è il primo anno che ne sento parlare dai media con un tono immotivatamente panicheggiante.
I giornalisti sono veramente terribili a volte.

Pierwszy raz mamy tak silny „atak” pyłu znad Sahary jak dzisiaj. Wczoraj na Twitterze IMGW pokazywało grafikę, że u nas może zrobić się pomarańczowo, ale nie spodziewałem się, że tak będzie. No nic, trochę to pogodę psuje, bo od rana miało być słonecznie, ale trzeba się przyzwyczaić, będzie takie „akcji” coraz więcej…

Zamglony krajobraz z zielonym polem na pierwszym planie, linią bezlistnych drzew pośrodku i bladym słońcem widocznym na zachmurzonym niebie. W oddali widoczne są wieże linii energetycznych.

And this is a boulder at Wadi al-Hitan sculpted by wind erosion. Whale Valley (Wadi al-Hitan) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sahara, Egypt. The place is known for its great number of fossils, particularly those of the early forms of whales called Archaeoceti.
