If you're doing a lesson to a primary school kid on Zoom, or Meetings etc, make sure your cat comes and sits on your laptop. Guaranteed laughter, easing tension, and a natural break for teacher and student 😂 😂 (even if a bit embarrassing)
I love how photogenic the Croydon Tram network is. Whenever I capture photography of the route, I feel like I've discovered a new secret London Underground line.
This was taken at Merton Park tram stop. The blue sky was finally breaking free from rain clouds
This is a pond slider turtle (Trachemys scripta) on a log in the middle of a lake. Kisatchie Lake, in the Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana. I personally, like the forest reflected in the lake.
I had some work in Latrobe today and after went to Warrawee Forest Reserve with the Mersey River flowing through. Amongst other things I saw some platypus and a sea eagle. But the highlight was a flock of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos. I've only ever seen family groups of between 2 and 6 birds before, but there must have been 200 in this group. Their noise and flight was beautiful.
I only have a phone for photos so they are never great, but I took this reflection in a pool and a large group of Black Cockatoos are clearly visible.
