Good morning everyone. Longer lie for me today as Grant got up for the #parrots. I dreamt that I figured out how to translate the "Eleven languages of the Universe". It seemed like a mighty achievement at the time 🤔 I was woken by Toby bashing one of his toys like crazy and growling like a demon. On Tuesday I rushed to spray bath them all in between meetings and I must have not latched his food bowl door properly when I put the dry food back. In the meeting I started to hear loud thumps coming from next door and I rushed through to find Toby throwing DVDs off the shelves. He's such a rascal! 😂#petsofmastodon#birdsofmastodon#GoodMorning
Today my daughter and I will be going out for a bimble around Hobbycraft and a spot of lunch. I definitely will try not to buy too much yarn while I am there 😂 She makes gothic art with clay and lots of black and gold paint so we'll probably stock up on more of that for her.
Good morning everyone. I missed you all yesterday 🌹 I couldn't post as I was up half the night with tummy issues, slept later than I meant to as a result, and had to get straight to work when I got up. All good today though. The #parrots have been cleaned and fed and I am just sitting down to my first large mug of #coffee for the day. Ziggy is very cuddly with me right now. Grant isn't getting a look in when he's usually the one she goes to first. It's good for Jadie though as it means she can spend a lot of time with him. She loves to crawl under his hand, put her little foot up to her cheek and go to sleep. This makes Grant drowsy and he also nods off, so quite often I glance over to see both of them snoozing away on the couch 🙂 #petsofmastodon#birdsofmastodon#GoodMorning

It's very hard to tell how steep the climb was from the photos but picture a corgi effortlessly leaping from the ground to the top of the first 4 ft wall of snow, then a second! I gasped audibly, I thought I'd have to catch her dumb ass mid superman.
Good morning everyone. A bit 🥶 today! The #parrots are all cleaned and fed and I have just made myself a large #coffee before I start working. Yesterday evening was a demonstration of the pecking order here in Parrot Central, with Ziggy constantly and determinedly chasing Toby every time he tried to get up on me. This frustrated the big lad who tried to take it out on Grant by running aggressively at him, only to be chased by Jadie who was protecting her daddy fiercely 😊 Eventually poor Toby did manage to settle on my legs and Ziggy left him alone after that. #petsofmastodon#birdsofmastodon#GoodMorning

Good morning you lovely lot , I hope everyone is doing well 💖 The #parrots are all in fine form this morning and I am glad to say that we didn't see any wing flipping from Toby last night. We've taken some coloured pellets out of his mix as I read Ekkies can have trouble with food dyes. I don't know if that was the problem to be honest though. We'll need to watch and see. Ziggy did go over to see Grant for a bit last night, but she's still coming to me most of the time for cuddles. It gives Grant more time with Jadie, so it's not a bad thing. I'm hoping to finish the custom #crochet toy off today with more Buffy binging. I will open up my listing again thereafter. I already have a toy booked for June I can start in the meantime, but I intend to take it a bit slower this year.
Good morning everyone 🌞 Today the #parrots have decided none of them, bar Toby of course, would go down to eat until I was back in the room, so I had two of them yelling at me while I went to get my #coffee 😂 Ziggy seemed hesitant to go back into her cage, but I think it was because when I moved her cage to clean this morning the extension cord behind the bookshelf next to her cage pulled out a bit and freaked her out. Cord =Snake I reckon 😊. I was a bit concerned for Toby last night as he seemed to be wing flipping. I've been reading up about Ekkies and they are very sensitive to diet. Wing flipping could either mean too many vitamins in his diet or too few...🤨 They all did get a supplement yesterday, so it may be that. He seems fine this morning, but I will need to keep an eye on him and change things if necessary. #petsofmastodon#birdsofmastodon#GoodMorning

Good morning everyone. The #parrots are cleaned and fed, Ziggy and I had a wee cuddle, I put on their cage lights (singing Day O as I did so, that's the routine 😉) and then things went a bit bonkers as Jadie yelled at me until I came back from fetching my #Coffee , Ziggy fell off a perch trying to jump between things and I had to comfort her, and Toby sprayed pomegranate juice all over the place. Last night, just as I was dropping off, I opened my eyes to see a wee boy running at me. Got quite a fright. Another time it was two men, also running towards me. One night I woke up and a lady in a Victorian bonnet was laying next to me looking at me. I yelled that time 😂. I'm not saying I am plagued by ghosts, they are clearly hypnogogic hallucinations, but they can be quite scary.
