The major indigenist journal Amauta (1926-30) had Indigenous writers in it. Francisco Chukiwanka Ayulo, a Quechua lawyer from Puno, Peru, fought to return Indigenous land back and even created a Quechua-Aymara alphabet. He even had direct bloodline to the Incan nobility.
