Surprising number of people in my mentions insisting that it is totally and ridiculously farfetched for me to even entertain the idea that #Pence could be the Republican nominee in 2024 and have a good chance against Biden. I remember people similarly treating my claims that in 2015-16, #Trump was a serious contender to be the Republican nominee and could pose a serious threat to a Clinton victory.
#Pence failed the citizens of the US. He watched Donald Trump conspire to steal (the irony) an election, and the only thing he did to stop it, instead of other, active, steps he could have taken (go public; enact the 25th).
Pence gets no hero credit for not committing #treason. That was the absolute minimum he did, he didn't actively join the traitors. He didn't take an overt action. He sure as hell passively rode behind them until he was told to commit an actual crime.
I understand why #DOJ wrote the #TrumpIndictment in a way that lauds #Pence but watch out. He’s unpopular among Republicans now, but probably has a good chance against Biden in the general. Yet he’s misogynist, anti-queer, Christian-theocratic who denies the existence of racial inequality in the U.S. He’s also a very wily politician, which makes him particularly dangerous. He literally did the least he could to stand against Trump. How sad that this makes him seem in any way heroic.
Florida Governor Ron #DeSantis wrote if elected he would "end the weaponsation of government". He said Washington DC is a "swamp" and "it is unfair to have to stand trial before a jury that is reflective of the #swamp mentality".

Trump constantly berated Pence to join the illegal attempt to hold onto power after losing the 2020 election — even on Christmas and New Year’s Day. #Pence repeatedly told him the truth, that he had no legal power to overturn the election, and Trump allegedly told him he was “too honest.” It’s potentially an indication that #Trump knew he was lying when he pressured Pence to reject electoral votes for Joe #Biden.
@realTuckFrumper and #pence is such a dip to even think he has a chance at being president, but he’s shouting the #GOP plan from the rooftops, let us be warned — a nationwide restriction on women’s right to healthcare is in their polictical playbook, regardless of which of the dips is nominated.
Mike Pence is apparently hitting up über-conservative Catholics at the Napa Institute, ($2800/ticket), filling his campaign coffers & greasing campaign wheels by focusing on his and Trump’s “pro-life” victories.
I don’t know about you, but “pro-life” to me is not separating migrant families especially without a reunification plan, cutting food and healthcare programs, dismantling women’s & LGBTQIA rights, and mis-managing a pandemic to the tune of a million+ lives US lost.
Mikey promises more of the same, though, when he’s president. Check it out.
